Book a session
Massage Sessions are available by appointment only
Planning your arrival:
Please come to the session showered and clean. Please avoid heavy perfumes or smoking before the session. It is best advised not to eat a large meal before the service. A light meal is fine.
There is free parking right in front. The therapist will be waiting to greet you at the entrance at the designated time. If you arrive early, please use the restroom and have a seat in the outdoor creekside lounge. Please bring a bottle of water.
We will begin the session with a consultation and assessment. During the first session, we will review your intake form. If you opt for a therapeutic session, there may not be time to massage the entire body. If you would like a full body massage combined with a therapeutic treatment, it is recommended that you book a 90-minute to 2-hour session.
The session is conducted on a warm hydraulic spa table, and you will be draped the entire time. Your modesty is fully protected during the entire session. If you choose to wear your clothing please wear a t-shirt without tight or restrictive garments underneath, and stretchy yoga-style shorts or pants. We may do stretching sequences in addition to the massage to obtain the full benefit of the treatment.
After your session:
Please allow yourself a bit of time to rest and relax after the session, take a gentle walk to enjoy the relaxation in your body, before you drive. You may feel sore after the session like you have exercised, that is normal. If you feel excessively sore, a headache or nauseous, that is an indication that you need rest and hydration. It is advised to drink 16 oz of fluid after a massage to assist the detoxification effect in the body.
Try to plan for relaxation in the time frame following the massage. A hot bath or nap is highly recommended. Please eat a healthy meal of whole, unprocessed food and nourish yourself well after the massage. It is recommended to get a good night's sleep following the massage, over 8 hours if you can manage it. This is important- the healing occurs during sleep.
If you wake up sore the next day, please drink plenty of fluids and get some light exercise and a hot bath. Please advise the therapist if you have any questions or concerns regarding the session. Also, please speak up if there is anything that will increase your comfort level during the session. This is your valuable self-care time and investment, and it is best to receive in warmth, comfort, and relaxation.
